Mason got a hair-cut!

Mason got a new hair-cut this week...he looks really different. We went in for a trim but he wouldn't cooperate so he got a little bit shorter of a cut than we planned. It was sad to see all that blond hair laying on the ground but I'm getting used to it and he looks adorable both ways!

We went to the inaugural NASCAR Nationwide Series Race in Newton, IA last weekend. We camped near the race track and had a good time at the race on Saturday!

Trip to Terril

Pat, Mason & I went to Terril last Friday night to visit Jesse & Amy. Aiden went to the fair with Mom & Dad that night so we just had Mason. They made us a great supper and we got to go tour Jesse's school building. Mason had a really good time playing with one of Amy's plants (which most of the pictures are of) and then he spilled his puffs all over their living room floor...not to worry though because Captain, their dog, cleaned up after him!

Mason's Birthday Weekend...nothing exciting but he did have a big blow up cake to play with! And yes those are sweatshirts and pants the kids are wearing on July 18th...crazy weather this summer!

Bike Trip to Lanesboro, MN

I went with my Mom and brother, Logan, and a bunch of my Mom's family to Lanesboro, MN where they have lots of bike trails. We went 20 miles the first day and 50 miles the second day. I thought my butt would be more sore than it was but it was actually a lot better than I thought and we had a good time! I took lots of scenic pictures hoping to entise Pat to go next year but the ones at the end in the bar will probably be more entising than the ones on the trail!

4th of July

It was a rainy 4th of July but there were long periods of dry weather so we got to enjoy the festivities! There was a big slide and bouncy castle that the boys really enjoyed this year...we spent most of our tickets on those!

Pre-4th of July Celebration at the Farm

A bunch of us got together the Thursday night before the 4th weekend because we didn't have to work on Friday the 3rd. We cruised around on the 4-wheelers and some people shot clay pigeons. It was a beautiful night unlike the rest of the 4th Weekend!
