Swimming

We took Aiden and Keaton swimming a few weekends ago and here are the pictures Pat's Mom Tory took for us. Aiden loves taking a bath so we knew he was going to love the pool! Ready to go swimming!

The Boys Taking a Bath

June 6th...moving day!

We were supposed to move on June 9th. However, people kept showing up to help us on the 5th when we were going to move only a few things that we ended up moving almost everything that night. We used 4-wheelers and the lawn mower to pull little trailers back and forth between the two houses...only in West Bend! Here is Pat's Dad Darryl and Pat's Uncle Carl moving our china hutch. Here is my cousin Dustin dropping off a load in the new garage. Here is my Uncle Dave and Uncle Tony putting together our dining room table. Pat's Aunt Lisa and I discussing the move! Pat's Uncle Carl moving the spool we use as a table outside. Why load it and move it when you can ride it! Here is Keaton and Pat relaxing after we got done. Here is Aiden and my Uncle Tony after we got done moving chillin' on the 4-wheeler.

June 5th...the carpet is layed and we are finishing up with painting.

Aiden helping move the washer and dryer. Mom and Aunt Robin fauxed our living room and dining room. It looks great! I helped fill the trays but left the fauxing to the professionals!

June 4th...all the old carpet is up and the new carpet is starting to get layed.

Here is Mark getting started laying the new carpet in the living room. The stairs going upstairs. The upstairs hallway. Our bedroom.

May 30th...the day after we started painting in our new house.

As most of you know we recently bought a house in West Bend. It's actually the house behind the one we were renting...so moving wasn't too bad. It's a three story house with lots of room so we're very excited! We finally have more than a few kitchen cupboards! On the main floor there is our kitchen, a full bathroom, Aiden's Room, the dinning room, living room and den. In the basement we have our laundry room, a workout room, a family room, a bar area and another full bathroom. Upstairs is our bedroom, a spare bedroom and a full bathroom. There is a full bathroom on each floor...which is really great! Below are a few pictures after we'd already begun painting and tearing up carpet. We had a huge crew of family and friends come in and help us...it was great and we got so much done in one night. Unfortunately, we forgot to get some pictures before we started. This is the dining/living room area. The walls were white and the carpet was orange. Pat had already started ripping up the old carpet in the living room area and we have the walls/ceiling painted "corn husk"/"crouton". This is the kitchen. The people we bought the house from had just redone the kitchen. We used the same color they had in the kitchen "green sulfur" but gave it a second coat and we painted a bunch of areas they had left white. Here is our bedroom. The walls were white and the carpet green. We painted the ceiling "crouton" and the walls got painted "spiced cinnamon". This is the spare bedroom. We haven't decided on a color for this room yet and so it's not going to get painted until after we move in sometime. Here is the bathroom that is upstairs. It was also remodeled recently. Here is the upstairs hallway. The walls are white and will stay white until after we move in sometime. The carpet was green. Here is Aiden's bedroom/toy room. It's on the main floor. We haven't decided on a color for his room yet either. Here is the basement. It had some fun rainbow carpet.

Day 5 and final day on our trip to Texas

Taking a bath with Keaton. Great-Grandparents Ron and Judy with their four Great-Grandchildren (Keaton, Rachel, Cade & Aiden). Julie and Ang with their Grandbabies (Cade, Rachel, Aiden & Keaton). Asleep at last! We had much better luck traveling home on Sunday than we did leaving on Wednesday...thank God!
